Richter Scale is dedicated to providing Toledo and the surrounding areas with the best in Classic Rock. The music that a generation grew up with, energetic and strait forward, is recreated with the brilliance and fervor paralleled only by that of the original artists. From the "flowers" of the 60's, to the "suits" of the 90's, Richter Scale has music and memories for everyone.
Band History
Richter Scale was formed in 1994 by two guys who realized that Toledo had no Bands that played the kind of music they had grown up listening to. Namely, Classic Rock n' Roll. They set about to correct the problem. A small utility shed (Studio) in the middle of a field was rented and the task of recruiting musicians was started. In the beginning band members came and went as Richter Scale searched for the perfect line-up. That goal was finally achieved, and over the past few years the band has grown to six guys who are loyal to the music they make as well as to each other. Their greatest accomplishment however is their dedication, determination, and their unsurpassed attention to detail. Richter Scale proudly introduces to you some of the most talented musicians in the Toledo area.
